Lucky enough to pull up on a day when they had a small knife/axe throwing section set up for a small competition. They were even friendly enough to let me try it with their own equipment. Lots of chickens and other farm animals. Cool for toddlers and small kids.

Such an awesome place, especially for kids. They love it. They have alot of running around space. With chickens, dogs, goats, you can hop on the tractor for hay ride with farmer Frank he was awesome with his speech about the farm and interesting facts about the farm. The owner Robert he is very nice and courteous. We enjoyed our time there thank you! The strawberry pick farm was awesome too smoothies are to die for ! Try them out you can spend a good couple hours here. With hot dogs and roasted corn. Drinks.

First time and loved everything about this family owned farm. The owner R. Hoover is the most polite caring human being you will ever meet and the staff is no different. We had an amazing time with the kids and I would highly recommend the experience to any family looking for an outing around the area. We will definitely return soon.

This was our first time at U Pick Family Farms and I can tell you it will not be our last. The main reason for our visit was to go strawberry picking; though the season is almost through,  the farm did not disappoint! Each of my two kids left with a bucket-full of strawberries with little effort in finding. To my surprise you also have the option to pick tomatoes, peppers, kale, and other veggies right off the land!

This farm also offers hay rides for a nominal price and kids under 5 years old are free. A very knowledgeable and friendly associate takes you around the entire property where you can see all the crops, animals, and even have opportunity to feed the cows and take pictures. The entire ride is about 15 or so minutes, you learn about the property,  and get to ask questions. It’s totally worth it for the little ones.

At the main stand, you pay for your pickings by the pound prices, you can also choose from additional fresh, organic produce available for taking. You can also buy hot dogs, milkshakes, and other delicious treats that they grill right in front of you!! For now it is cash only but the owner assured me the electronic method of payment will be available soon!!

Finally,  but not least there is a small pen with lamb and baby goats that you can feed from the fence. The animals are super cute and friendly and come to you for feeding and petting. The farm provides you with food for this for only $0.50!! There is also a little chicken coop full of healthy and beautiful looking chicks and roosters around the general area.

Overall, this U Pick farm has exceeded the expectations of my husband and myself because it was conveniently located, fairly priced, excellent service and products, well kept, and provided an amazingly beautiful and safe environment for my kids to experience nature and farm animal interactions. Thank you Penny,  Robert, and Joseph for your kind and excellent service, we will see you again!!
