Fred Astaire Dance Studio Weston

We love this studio! My 9 year old daughter loves to dance but is too shy for group classes so private, one on one classes have been perfect for her. The instructor, Carlee, was so good at finding common ground w my daughter right away and helping her feel comfortable. My girl eagerly awaits her dance class now. Could not be happier.

My fiancé and I came here for our 1st dance for our wedding, we were so nervous and Carly made us feel confortable. She is an awesome teacher, very outgoing and the techniques were so easy to learn! Definitely will be coming back for more dance sessions!

My fiancé and I have been taking first dance lessons at the Weston location with Carly, and our experience has been nothing short of AMAZING! Carly is THE best, not only is she a great dancer, but she’s also an impeccable teacher (and this is coming from a middle school ELA teacher)! She always makes us feel super comfortable, and keeps us smiling whether we’re nailing the dance moves or stepping on each other’s toes.

If you’re planning on doing a first dance, investing in classes is a must! My fiancé and I have been together 6 years in February, and this experience has lit a fire in our relationship at such an ideal time. Neither of us have a background in dance, and it has been incredibly exciting to learn something new together. Dancing together in this new capacity has brought more joy and intimacy to our relationship than I would have imagined possible. We sought these classes just because we didn’t want to be that couple swaying awkwardly on the dance floor for a five minute first dance, but they’ve honestly brought us much more than just that.

In the studio, Carly has created an intimate space where we can be with one another with her there to guide us, and it truly feels like hanging out with someone you always knew. She’s always super enthusiastic, and literally goes out of her way to make sure that we get as much as we can out of each lesson-whether that’s staying late, pretending to be Eric or I, or recording tutorials and sending us home with detailed notes. On the nights I’m not sure we can do it, she makes a believer out of me. On the days we’ve forgotten every thing we learned last class, she patiently reteaches us the lesson. I do not think I could recommend this instructor or this studio enough, literally worth every penny! Every class has been a priceless experience, and a much needed respite from the hectic wedding planning process.

Carly has been an absolute pleasure to work with! I can’t imagine dealing with our four left feet without her ?

I cannot say enough good things about this dance studio. Carly and Alex are always extremely welcoming. We have been taking dance classes with Carly for our upcoming wedding. She created a unique routine specific to our song choice. We feel like we have known her forever! She has a kind heart and a gift for teaching dance. We look forward to taking more classes with her in the future. She has definitely made learning how to dance feel more comfortable and energizing.
