We had the opportunity to see the first full moon of the decade. It is a small space, but a very nice experience. The people from the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association are super nice and eager to share their knowledge and their private telescopes. You have to be a bit patient because there is a line to use each telescope, but is not crazy time… It is part of the experience.

This is a phenomenal place to view the stars in an astronomy show it is located in the front of the park behind the office. Check the Markham Park website for times and dates however it normally taken place on Saturday evenings after dark. If you’re in the area this is definitely a must visit.
