Weston Branch Library

I will give one star to Weston Library because I still benefit from using the quiet room for studying purposes at this branch. Outside this special room, you can forget about having found a quiet place for either studying either or just reading, which is what a library is supposed to offer. One morning they even had an activity in the children section with music at such high volume that it defeated the purpose of the quiet room.
It gets even worse every afternoon after the students from the adjacent school walk inside. It’s socializing time!!, so you are better of going to a public park to do your reading than being here from 2-5 pm if you want to be in a quiet place.
Tutors and their students will occupy every single table and will be talking to each other as if they were in their own homes’ living room.
The computer section becomes a video game arcade zone, which takes away any availability to the rest of the public for other uses.
Such a small library should have stricter rules on noise, or rather, on keeping it quiet.
This branch is located in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in South Florida and I have seen better-behaved people at branches in far less affluent areas.

Best library of all time ever

The library is great…. THE CHILDREN ARE HORRIBLE!!!! I have homeschooled students and they even asked why the kids act this way in public!!!! Talking VERY loud… Baby screaming to the top of its lungs mother just ignoring it while she’s on the phone…. Kids running, bumping into people… no respect at all so that let’s me know the parents couldn’t have possibly taught them anything at home!!! I asked the lady at the front desk was this normal, she simply said, “YES”…. I’m embarrassed for the parents…. If you didn’t want to raise your kids you probably should’ve swallowed them and kept it moving ??‍♀️

Great place for knowledge.

Multiple spaces inside the library make it ideal for studying, reading with children, great collection of magazines, lots of PCs. You can also install the WOW App and request titles, then simply pick them up at this location.
