The food was great! George our server, was great! If you go, ask for George and you will not be disappointed.
There are 6 other aspects of this restaurant which limited us from being able to give it a better star rating.
A. It was extremely expensive. After a 20% tip, we came out of there having spent $94.
I had a fettuccine alfredo with chicken and shrimp, my wife had the grilled salmon and our granddaughter had a kids macaroni and cheese..
The only drinks we ordered were 1 coffee and a kids apple juice. I had water.
For $94 we probably could have gone to J. Alexander’s.
B. My fettuccine alfredo had shrimp in it with the shells still on the tails. That just meant that I had to pick through the pasta and take the shells off by hand thus getting the cheese sauce all over my fingers with each shrimp.
C. They do not even offer unsweet iced tea and could not make any.
D. From the time we placed our order until the time we got our food seemed like an eternity. The food, however was served hot and was very tasty. George told us no less than three times that he was going to check on our food and apologized that it took so long.
E. They have live music. The band was decent but it was a country / southern rock band whose song selection just seemed very out of place for this particular venue. This band would have better fit in at a Roadhouse or at the chili cook-off.
F. The many different aspects of the interior decor contradicted and actually fought with each other. It was obvious to me that when they built out this restaurant that they did not seek the help of an interior designer.
As a remodeling contractor it bothered me. It also bothered my wife who though she does not work in the industry, has impeccable design sense. Yes, we are rather picky when it comes to interior design, probably to a fault. That said, here’s what troubled us…
They have a substantial amount of white antique looking brick on the entry walls. We really like that, however, very close by were also thick contemporary columns clad in white subway tile with silver accent trim.
If they had clad the columns in brick like the wall, It would have been perfect but these two don’t go together well.
They have a combination of vintage light fixtures with Edison bulbs combined with contemporary ceiling track light fixtures that look like they belong in a modern photography studio. Again, huge inconsistency.
Some of the knee walls are clad in rustic corrugated tin barn roof type of material and others were just painted drywall. No consistency here. It should have been done one way or the other but not a combination of both. It was as though they looked around a huge pile of construction materials and thought to themselves, what can we use from this pile? And then just threw a bunch of miscellaneous pieces into the pot and gave it a good stir. A restaurant that charges these prices and that has food and service as excellent as Primetime should also look good. I may get comments telling me that I’m crazy and overly critical but I’m just expressing my opinion.
At the end of the day, If you don’t drink iced tea or eat shrimp pasta, If you’re not one to notice inconsistencies in interior design and if you have a lot of time sit and wait for your expensive dinner, then you will love this place. For those of you who fit this profile, I would recommend Primetime highly!

Went for an office holiday event. Don’t think this is the best place for theses types of event. Location is small, didn’t have a private area to mingle.
Customer service was great. Even though they were packed food came out very quickly and hot. Food was extremely yummy. I will definitely go back in a smaller party.
Live music. Singer was good. Would’ve preferred a bit more variety in his music selection. At the end of the day he was good.

I ordered a cheeseburger without cheese with fries. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger (normal) with cheese and bacon fries. They brought out my burger with cheese and plain fries. And gave him a cheeseless burger with cheese fries. Luckily, we were able to swap Sigh.. why is it so hard for people to understand that some of us don’t eat/can’t eat cheese? I’ve had a better burger for 1/3 of the price…
