Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa

I waited two months before writing this review just to make sure there were no problems that showed up afterwards.
I recently had my pool refinished and added a salt system. I could not be happier. The people at this Pinch a Penny were very informative and professional. I highly recommend

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The owner is a little rude but I guess if he has his employees in line and doing a good job it shouldn’t matter.

Once in a great while, you’re lucky enough to “Visit” a store that upon entering you immediately realize is a much different than the rest. Something that definitely separates them from the huge list of pool stores we have here in Florida.
“Pinch-A-Penny” in Weston, Florida is run SO EFFICIENTLY when you enter thru the sliding doors you are greeted by friendly and extremely well-trained staff members usually, even before you can even take 2 steps in the store.

MY STORY… Began when I moved to Davie over 17 years ago and had NO IDEA how to own/run my own pool, so, I was about to call the local pool maintenance service and commit to @ $50-$75 a month. But before I did that, I walked into my local Weston “Pinch-A-Penny”.
Within the first few minutes they explained to me that it’s SO easy, I could do it myself!!! Then, they took me thru every step needed to keep my pool always looking “Blue” and “ Brilliant”. No idea how they did it… but I really did walk out feeling like I “actually” knew what I was doing ….
Even upon exiting, they insisted I call them to give them a status report, THIS STORE IS AMAZING !!!

If you need pool supplies, I cannot recommend this location enough. They test your water fast and thoroughly. They get you your chlorine quickly and put it at the front on a cart. It is like full service gas from the 50s, but in a pool store. They also have great hours on the weekends. Make sure your pool pH is good. You don’t want to get you or your family sick in the pool.

This place is RIP off. I sent my son to buy a product and they charge him for 4 items. Unfortunately I only found out when he got back home. When product was returned the manager blamed a new employee and said that he had run after the car to try to return the money back. Yeah right. Do you really think we believe this lame excuse. Shame on the manager for blaming his employees for this mistake. Should take full responsibility. Thanks God we have Home Depot in front and for basic needs we got Publix. Other than that I bought what I needed in Amazon for half the price. Always perfect, gets home in two days and don’t have to send my wife and son to return one product and waste our precious time. Pinch a Penny Weston dont ever take advantage of a 16 year old kid. You are a diservice to the community. Where are the old good honest local shops you could trust with your closed eyes? No wonder why the online businesses are killing all the brick and mortar stores.
