Edible Arrangements

Ordered a tray of chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines Day. When I went to pick them up the store only had one person working the counter and a second that came out on occasion. The phones were ringing off the hook and were not being answered. Being Valentines Day, the store was full of people picking up orders and the wait time was over 20 minutes for pre- orders due to the understaffing. Once I got my tray of chocolate covered strawberries my displeasure grew. Over half the strawberries on the platter had no chocolate and of the ones that did 5 of them were not dipped in chocolate but instead had a light dusting of chocolate that you could clearly see the strawberry through. The employee assisting quickly handed me off to a manager. When I showed the manager the difference of a dipped strawberry and one of the dusted ones on the tray he responded, “Well it has chocolate on it.” When I questioned if he felt a tray of approximately 25 strawberries that had only 10 strawberries dipped in chocolate was worth $59.99 he quickly offered me a refund as the only solution to pacify me. I’ve used this company in the past for special occasions but this is the last time.
