Wow! After dealing with neurologist from Key West for 15 years, it’s a breath of fresh air to have such a compassionate doctor again. Traveling from Key West to Weston, Fl is a very minor inconvenience for great service from Dr. Efrain Salgado and his staff. I spent 2 hours with him and talked about everything I have been through and the fact that a lot of the issues I was having were related to MS and not issues that I was sent to other doctors to handle. His delightful manner made it very comfortable to talk to him and ask questions. He is running many tests and coming up with an entirely new treatment plan to hopefully stop the exacerbation’s I have been having over the past few months.
Worst Dr. EVER!!! Don’t listen to the commercials that say ” Do you need a second opinion, your health matters!” Not to this Dr. or to the Cleveland Clinic!!! They are NO BETTER than any other South Florida Dr. from my experience. If you enjoy being yelled at and basically belittled, treated like a 5 year old child then by all means, knock yourself out!! You’ve been warned!!! Respect is earned not given because you have s degree.
Dr. Salgado and his staff are very caring and never make you feel they are rushed. He takes his time and examined my son very well. He took a very detailed history and was genuinely concert with what was going on. It is worth the wait it took to get an appoint with him. He and his staff really care for their patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone of my friends family members and just anyone that needs nerological care. Can not say good enough things about him. ?
Dr. Salgado is not only incredibly knowledgeable, he is methodical, patient, and very VERY thorough. He never makes you feel rushed, you’ll never see him checking his watch, his time is yours. Dr. Salgado ensures all your questions are answered before you leave his office and you understand all that has been discussed. There is a downside to all this greatness though… Unless you book an early appointment, you may be kept waiting for an hour. This is a mild inconvenience compared to the service he provides. He is truly an example of what all medical doctors should aspire to be. Yes, I sound biased, but I’m not. I just know quality when I see it.
