Bonaventure Resort & Spa

We stayed here after a cruise and prior to our flight. Resort wasn’t too far from the FLL and in a nice area. The lobby, main pool, and the restaurants were in pristine condition. The rooms and other buildings not so much. The elevators were very sketchy and took forever for the doors to open. The beds were very small and uncomfortable. We barely slept and had to wake up super early to catch a flight. The pool close to our building was nice, we were the only ones swimming. There were a lot of leaves in the pool, we tried to clean them out while we were swimming. The balcony was nice and roomy. Loved the area but not so much the hotel.

This was one of my favorite stays on our vacation. The bartender Mitch was very personal and fun to talk to! The rooms were very clean and nice. The landscape around there was amazing!!! recommend this resort to everyone!! Thank you.

Just in and out for conferences but never lodged at this location. Staff is very polite and helpful. Security can be a bit authoritarian but they likely need to justify their existence. The transport from overflow parking is on point and extremely comfortable.

Was here for a conference. Carpet in the room we stayed in smelled as well as the elevator. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our hotel room and one hanger in the closet. Had to request additional hangers. TV remote did not work. Despite calling front desk 3 times to replace it, no one responded. Service at the Banyan restaurant on a Wednesday night was horrible. Drink server did not come by our table until we were halfway through our meal. When we requested hot water, the drink server forgot and we had to remind him as we were nearing the end of our meal. The hotel room was very dated and our room view was of a construction area. The only saving grace was the spa staff including hairstylist who were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Do not plan to stay here again.

Good for what it is. Not built to be a 5 star hotel. It’s clean and well maintained, the service is good, prompt and friendly. Dining areas and pool very comfortable settings. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
